That catalog photo shows that the F-512 will still have a solid wood back, while the F-512 maple (formerly F-412) will still have an arched maple back.

Personally, I think they should have left those two model designations (512 & 412) unchanged. That change will only serve to confuse the customer.

But it sure is nice to see them beginning to advertise new US-built acoustic guitars.

Good manufacturing sense to start with pretty basic guitars, then work up from there.

Anybody know if that M-20 is short scale like the GAD M-120?

IF so, hmmmm....

Please let it have a 1 3/4 nut also. I don't ask for much, and I plan to be really good this year.

If I had to bet I'd say it will be short scale with an 1-11/16" nut.

lame. i just cannot do 1 and 11/16th anymore. not even playing the BR. just leaving it for one of the kids. playing the beat up old yammie like a 6 string and loving the string spacing and nut width.

Nice new headstock logo design on the D-20 and M-20, not only the Guild name but also the G shield added! Looks similar to some of the former Nashville Custom shop versions.

The prices for the D-20 and M-20 are very much in line with the Martin D-15 all Mahogany guitars.
Looks like a great start to the new line.

This is very wise of Cordoba. Reach most anyone who can afford a new Guild. Solid Guild offering. If only could be 1 and 3/4.

I didn't even notice that! (or my mind wasn't firing on all 8). That is very cool indeed & only strengthens my resolve to get one of those D20's.
