95 pilot 5 truss rod cover plate.

I am looking for the truss rod cover replacement. Alot of pilot 5 I find do not have one.2 screws at nut. I don't even know what one looks like.

I'd start with a google images search for a Pilot 5 bass and go from there

I leave mine off all my basses because I have to make truss rod adjustments a lot. I set it then a few months later I can feel the action getting higher. Sure enough, the neck pulled into more of a bow, gotta get it back to spec. I don't think I've ever had a neck stay put for years at a time.

Hmmm, I have set mine maybe once and never touched them again.

Of course, I absolutly abhore "fret clack" so I play with my action a little on the high side.
