It's been 24 hours now... can't seem to put it down. 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️

This is a remarkable guitar. I've lusted over these since I first found out what they were. When Wilmywood first got his, we also tried out Martins. He ended up buying the G37 and I bought the best 12-string Takamine made. Mine was a great guitar, but I wanted one of these. And now it's real..this instrument is amazing. Absolutely not a thing wrong with my memories of how these sound. Wilmywood set it up to D pitch so put some heavier strings on it. I believe he said 14-59. I'm seriously tempted leave it and use a capo. I know that these maple guitars are big, but this is huge.

So cool when you instantly bond with a new guitar like you have! Hope the honeymoon never ends with your G37.

Dang that’s a heavy string gauge.
Doesn't feel too bad tuned a step down. Sounds awesome. And, though I started and have always played the guitar, I've spent my professional career mostly as an electric bass player. String sizes and guitar weights are relative. 🤣❤️

Hopefully that "new guitar feeling" never wears off so every day will be new guitar day. :)

Happy NGD, that one sounds like a winner, congrats! I’ve always used .13s, recently tried .12s on my dreads, didn’t ever think to go bigger, might look into that:)

The guy that worked on the guitar was telling me that Guild guitars are built so well that they actually like 13s. He said the Guilds of this era were built better than any guitars out there. After getting it back with 12s I was thinking that 13s would have been fine. Maybe next string change...
