After you've been numbed to the topic of neck angle by people that can spot a low saddle from the balcony section, it's refreshing to see people discussing the pros and cons of both shallow and steep neck angles without mentioning any trips to the luthier to remedy something that's not broken.

I came upon this because wanting to sell my 335 Dot, it seemed like the nangle, neck angle was too shallow, really low, so I yanked the ad on it thinking, here goes another effed up refund situation I can avoid by keeping the guitar, a win win for me ;]

After some research into the neck angle of old 335, I realized my guitar is fine, has shallow neck angle, and it's not a bad thing.

A shallow neck angle on a 335 is a good thing - as long as the bridge can be adjusted up and down to make it play. Too steep a neck angle on that type of guitar and you'll get an exaggerated, sharp loud attack on the front of a note. Shallower neck angle -> smoother tone.
