The “Whitey” Gibson ES-355TD is expected to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000.

 A little too steep for my pocketbook. Same for the Gibson Dove....

...a 1976 Gibson Dove.... [is] expected to fetch between $100,000 and $200,000.

Canada .... brrr
So the ES355 was supposed to be used on their 1974 album, even though he bought it in 1976? Mystical rush guitar time travel!

This one better...not my kinda band, but these 'geezer's can rock! RIP Neil Pert, maybe best rock drummer there was (coming from a Ginger Baker/Buddy Rich fan)...

+1 for the Buddy Rich reference. Slight veer… Got to see him live as a kid. He could outplay 99.9% of drummers with one hand literally tied behind his back.

Yes, BR was known to be a bit of an _ _ _ . However he had a good side. He posed for a great picture with his hand on my younger brother’s shoulder when he found out my brother was a drummer. My brother had it framed hanging over his kit for years.
