Chazmo,

Count me in. I will be back from my 3-month contract with Holland America, after cruisin' Hawaii, and Mexico, and rarin' to go on a tour of the new factory.

Dennis, that's great! Stay tuned (if you can) in Jan. / Feb. as I announce registration and we start taking names and booking stuff. Safe cruising!

Count me in as well. This is such a great idea. I was born in CT, always loved the Westerly Guilds, and am a Hamer guitar owner (also built in New Hartford.) BTW, my Hamer is exceptional. New Hartford might just become a new mecca for guitar work.

Count me in. I live in MA, so this will only require a 1.5 hour ride.

I'll be attending the Dallas Guitar Show on April 16-18 so I should be back for this tour.

Once the date gets closer, I'm happy to talk to folks in MA about car-pooling. I am just outside of Boston.

That'll be great, folks. Keep in mind, we'll have to do a little driving from the hotel to the factory and then to our dinner hall on Friday and back to the hotel. We will not be providing a bus or anything, but carpooling should work great.

Start thinking about staying over on Thursday and Friday if you can. We are looking like we have a pretty full dance card on Friday, starting in the morning. It's gonna' be fun.

Stay tuned to the threads upcoming in the members section. Tallyho.

Nora and I will be there! We'll be driving down from Cambridge, MA and not staying overnight.

Looking forward to meeting some of you -- thanks again Mr. Chaz!

Ya' know,
there are a butt load of airport shuttle companies around the hotel.
You probably could find one that would work cheap?
There is about six of them across the street.

Also, most of them work with the hotels. Might want to ask the hotel
which one will shuttle folks from the airport to the hotel
to save the few fliers on costly cab fair.

Stay tuned about transportation changes/additions... We are investigating, and yes there is an airport shuttle that might be preferable to a car rental, particularly if Fender ferries us around to the different locations... This is being investigated right now so I'll update you guys when I have more info.

Thanks, Scott. (oh, and I need your registration info when you have a chance)

I live nearby in Bloomfield and might be able to shuttle a few folks. We might even be able to host a jam locally if people are interested.
