Surely is great to find this forum.

I bought this Guild D4-NT #CF002785 sometime in the early 90s. It what the nicest guitar I could afford at the time.

When I quit gigging, I hung it on the wall. I pulled it down the other day and, MAN, I love the way thing sounds after ~30 years!

As I welcome the golden years, I'm rekindling the interest in music. I'm reviving this guitar and all the other GIDS (gear I didn't sell) without the pressure of gigging.

Thank you all for being here.

Welcome, thetom. Like you, with retirement there's more time for music!!! I have a 1995 D4-E in the satin natural finish. Very nice guitars that were affordable then. I want to say that, at the time, the music store had them on sale for somewhere in the $400 to $450 range. Well worth it !!!

Enjoy the forum. Lots of friendly, helpful folks here from all over the world.
