As Joan recommended....pick up at UPS station.
I started using the UPS station for delivery because I was never at home when they delivered...then I'd have to play tag with them....
The trick to UPS station delivery with Ebay/Paypal is to add the UPS station as a new delivery address to your profile....you need to do this BEFORE you purchase anything. Then when you buy something and are checking out you are given the option of choosing which of your addresses to use: either your home or the UPS station, since both are on file with Ebay/Paypal.
I always request a tracking number and then show up at the UPS station on the arrival date. They don't appreciate a customer opening and spilling a bunch of peanut packing on the floor, so I take it to my car and open it for a quick check before I leave the parking lot....so far, it's worked well.

The first one has been relisted, I don't think the second one will be. Both guitars had high action on the upper frets, each with a very different series of failures arriving at that point, would have taken major surgery to fix.
Thanks for the good wishes, everyone! I'm still in the market and trying to be patient. If something works out Ill revive my "12 strang's 12 strangs" thread.

Dang Strang. Hang in there; we're pulling for you...
Congrats on the new "Carbon Copy" for East and West coast play. I hate to be nay sayer, but I have had nothing but bad luck with UPS. I do everything possible to avoid them and use Fedex or USPS. UPS has damaged a couple of mine... Need I say more.
