Hello fab,

Talked to the owner about 10 years ago and I was able to find the guitar back in the original Guild ledgers, which confirmed that the guitar had an Emerald Green finish when it left the factory.

Sincerely,

I had a chance to buy an emerald Thunderbird back in the mid/late 90s for $700 but passed. That would have been a pretty decent investment. It was long enough ago that it was a call the dealer for an in hand description, no pics, no internet kind of situation and I was never really that fond see-thru green guitars, to be honest. I've since come to realize the the green finish seems to be pretty rare on the T-Birds and, with the prices these things are pulling these days...

Lordy, imagine if we had a crystal ball vis-a-vis vintage guitar values?
Granted the market is down a bit, but how much are vintage Strats and LPs going for?
