Martin made a 17" jumbo 12-string with a 27.5" scale called the JSO! Pete Seeger model. It was expensive, a little hard to play, and a little dark sounding (tuned B to B). I would think the F-612 would be a little bit easier to play, but still challenging in the cowboy chord area.

Haven't heard much about Martin's Pete Seeger, GG. Definitely meant to be tuned down with that long a scale, and not necessarily meant to sound so huge...

Martin's closest thing to an F-612 would have to be the Grand J body style... A few years ago, they issued the Grand J-40E which was most similar dimension-wise to an F-512. And, of course, that's a 17" body with (I think) a normal 25"-ish scale. I'm not aware of any 18" jumbos like the F-612.

I own a 1971 made F-612, since 25 years or so. Playable, but need some work. Still looking for a case that fits :).
Wal, are you sure that's an F-612? Looks like an F-512. I don't see the checkered binding that I expect in your pictures (maybe they're just too dark)?

Yes, and the Pete Seeger baritone 12-string uses the same body as the Grand J12-40 so 17" but with a different sound hole. If Martin ever did an 18" model it had to have been a one-off through their custom shop, but I've not heard of one.
