Since Fender has lost so many Guild retailers, I don't see these at all anymore. Are they still being made?
Any mention made of them at the tour earlier this year?

hhmmm, no real indication that they have been discontinued. They are still up on the website, and the Guild dealers that I frequent still have them (plenty of them) in stock. Maybe something is in the works, but that is all speculation on my part.

Well, as one can see, Tacoma still has product on their website too... but I believe it's just a mirage http://www.tacomaguitars.com/products/search.php

As alluded to in other recent discussions it is quite possible that Fender has enough stock of some things to list them for sale and fill orders, even if they have not been made in a while. So I don't know what the status of GADs is and I'm curious too. Perhaps there are (as of 1 Oct) three price tiers: Traditional; Standard; and GAD?

B-street Music in San Mateo, still has some Corona and Tacoma NOS for sale. The local store in Redwood City, Gelb, has sold all their GAD's, and they really had to give them away. Once people knew about Guild building in the US again, I think everyone played wait and see. I think the Corona and Tacoma guitars I played really sounded good. I've played some of the newest ones at Gelb, and finish was thick, but sound, fit and finish all top class.

I don't know if they're still being made, but Guitar Gallery in Scottsdale AZ has about half a dozen of them in the store - more than anything else, in fact. Maybe that's a sign that they just aren't moving. Personally, I won't buy a guitar that's not American made, but that's just me.

I remember somewhere having read the Wing series Tacomas would still be in production. Don't know whether that's in New Haven or in Corona or whereever, nor if that was upto a certain date.
