So, Kurt, you're saying that you can use a larger picture and the site will resize it automatically? Possibly as long as it doesn't exceed the maximum file size?
Currently here the limitation is: "The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)." Checking Grot's Avatar here it shows 80x80 pixels and 2.858KB. So yes, try uploading a larger pixel size and see what happens. I guess as long as the picture is below 19.5KB you are fine.
I had to resize my avatar to get it to load. Kurt must just be special, as we've suspected all along.It seems that my avatar was automatically resized, because I did nothing to change the size when I submitted mine. It also appears that everyone's avatar is the same size, whereas some used to be smaller/larger, if I recall correctly. *Check that....yours is bigger than mine. D'oh!

Even though it looks like the others aren't there, they really are. If you leave your mouse over the ones that look like they are bad pics, you will see what they are, and they will show up in your post.Let's see if I can do smiley's now too. Hmmm, I'm only seeing two.
