Now that is interesting. So far NH only makes the B-54CE Standard in Blonde (Natural Top).

Now Guild posted on Instagram and Facebook two new pictures, looks like the B-54CE in a wonderful Antique Burst!
That model does not show up on the Guild webpage yet! Wonder if they add this to the standard line.

Still not as big as a B-50...

but I very much like the burst and that would be my choice if I were in that market.

I'm with frono on this one. I was pretty unenthused when the B54ce was announced. To me it just doesn't have anything close to the appeal of a B50. Still, in the burst (and in those photos) it sure is gorgeous!
On a side note, the blonde pictured above looks a heck of a lot nicer than the blonde they have pictured on their website, here:

I had what was effectively a brief private tour at the factory at LMG III. I had a couple of minutes in the room where they were keeping prototypes. I played a Koa B-54, fretless B-54 and one that I think was close to a production model. I didn't have any of them long enough to form any useful impressions but I did go away thinking they would not replace the B-50 until such time as I could not physically play the B-50 (because of its size, my gut and aging wrists and shoulders). IIRC the Koa may have been the first Guild bass built in the factory.
