Love these movies. Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau were always special together, but Burgess Meredith completely stole the show!

Also the 1941 movie "Tom, Dick and Harry" with Ginger Rogers, George Murphy, Alan Marshall and Phil Silvers (TV's "Sgt. Bilko").
He also provided some of the better moments of Stallone's "Rocky" (first one) as punch-drunk trainer "Mick".
And don't forget him in the "Twilight Zone" episode "Time Enough at Last" (1959).
