... and a black sparkle '81 Guild X-82 with OHC in my basement.

Mine can be had for a lot less than Willie's is offering the X-79 for, plus it has pink coated DR strings -- if you're into that sort of thing.

Was thinking exactly what I've got into it, $750 shipped.

That sounds like a decent deal to me, if you dig that finish. Whoever ends up with it oughta be happy with what I imagine is a screamer. Those p'ups rock.

They do indeed. And in true Thunderfacian fashion, I couldn't have just one XR-7 equipped guitar. No, I had to have three. Say one thing about me, I've at least given myself plenty of examples and opportunities from which to draw the conclusion that the S-100 with the HB-1s is (are) the guitar(s) for me.

Yea, it's changed a bit... Not the best pic...the camera is on the way out at this point and I had trouble getting the whole group in one shot, but...meh. Maybe I'll try again later now that I have a camera with a panoramic shot mode that actually doesn't suck under low light.

This was a few weeks ago and even it is out of date...it's missing an ESP LTD blingy blingy EC-1000 I picked up on the cheap.

We're gonna need a bigger boat!

Well, a few aren't "mine"...the Bronze Warlock with the EMGs and the Tak acoustic with the cutaway are my oldest's and the burst Mexicaster on the couch is pretty much his, for all intents and purposes.

Forget the boat, he's gonna need a bigger lens! I'm counting 23, correct? Why are the S-100s in the background is my question.

26 and the answer to the second question is the same as it always has been...to keep em safe and comfy on the couch!

Funny, when I looked at it my first thought was about whether the green S-100 was in a position providing the maximum amount of safety from accidental harm. And when I think about the new family pic I'll take on my back porch when the '77 arrives I wonder about them falling over. Not the biggest concern when I'm photographing three, but the danger increases exponentially when there are seven gits leaning precariously against the railing (with this typical fall mountain wind and falling debris from the trees).

So Hammer, how long it did take you to set all of them up? At first, I thought they were placed randomly, but after viewing the photo again, I see there is an arrangement by groups.

It took a while to not only set them all up, but to dig them out as well...some live in their cases in the closet. And, yea, they are in groups...BC Riches, Acoustics and odd shapes on the floor, Fenders starting with the Tele into the Strats and ending with the super Strat (Charvel), then onto the S-100s and S-73, two Epis laying on the couch then all the Gibbos over on the chair. The worst part was trying to stack them that way without hurting them at all. :D

No, the worst part was having to put them all away again. It was either that, or get one of those velvet rope setups and start charging admission. :D
