Arrived in one piece. This is #85 that was recently discussed in the Online Offerings

Pretty much as advertised. The seller kind of down played the neck binding flaws near the nut, but overall it’s not too bad.

I’ll play it for a few days and report back.

Those are the Armstrongs. (y)

Just for a point of reference, did you measure the DC resistance?

The Armstrong web site seems to be down, @drc . I'm sure you can get whatever info you need here though. Best of luck. Snazzy, indeed!

Looks very formal especially with the Morgan amp. You may need to wear a tux. Enjoy!
Thanks John

I’m dropping this one off for a new nut and bridge saddles, both are slotted too low.

Both the tone and volume pots have push-pull options. I’ve been spending all my time pushing, pulling and listening, trying to figure them out. Fun but frustrating.

It should sound pretty sweet with the full range humbucker, I wouldn't mess around with the push pots or phase switch unless I was playing really loud, and even then i'm sure i'd swich right back to standard bucker. The neck pickup in particular, I would focus on that, play with amp settings and the tone knob on the guitar. great buy Dave enjoy that one

I never would have thought a nightbird would look so good in black. I love it!.
I actually think black (and almondburst) were considered 'standard colors' early on (hence the name) but the prevailing Les Paul tastes moved things toward maple/sunburst.
