Happy B-Day to Bob and LA!

I celebrated Bob's birthday by playing "Tambourine Man", "Don't Think Twice", and "Blowin' in the Wind" at Open Mic last night. My axe of choice was my '06 Guild F-412 mic'd into the PA. Our O/M is held every Thursday night. Signups start around 5PM and music starts at 8PM sharp. Everyone gets 3 songs or 15 minutes, whichever comes first. The O/M runs until everyone has had their chance on stage.

Thanks for all the great music, Bob!

She was born in Ethiopia, an abandoned newborn found in a forest, taken to an orphanage where my daughter and son-in law adopted her and another baby girl. They have three other kids and they are all wonderful.

Proud Grandpa George

Great reason to be proud grandpa. Happy Birthday, Amara!!!

You're a very lucky guy Grandpa George :)

And a note about BD:
Zimmy's holds an annual celebration called Dylan Days each year on the week of his birthday. Tonight starts the song writing/talent contest. Each participant is required to perform a Dylan song and an original of their own. They do get contestants from all around the country. Sounds fun and I'll be there (to watch and listen only).

Happy Birthday to the lovely Amara and all birthday Dudes and Dudettes, and if that's really all Dylan's hair he could send some to Sean Connery.

Thanks for the Well-wishes folks, And a very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Amara!

6L6, I've visited Half Moon Bay and Princeton-by-the-Sea a number of times. I hope my next visit (whenever it happens) will correspond with your open mic. That would be a hoot!
