Not sure you can use tandem trailers in Texas. I think they were outlawed once upon a time here.

If you guys don't mind me kinda sliiiiding back over to the topic, I think I would really like the remote.

I believe that system would be great in a 50-100 seat room.

I'd love to hear one. The Bose home systems always sound so good in stores, but Jeff has told me that if you take the sub out, they just sound ok. One of the things that appeals to me most about the Bose PA, is how small and portable it is.

They also claim that if it is set up behind the performer it performs the task of amplifier/Monitor.

I guess feedback would depend on the size room you were trying to fill.

I demoed this system last week at one of the local GCs and for acoustic guitar and vocal it worked out very nicely. the phase cancellation switch on my Fishman Ellipse Matrix blender made feedback from my D30 a complete non-starter; and, maybe because the mic used was an EV 767, the vocals seemed quite crisp and well-defined.....the one downside was that darned sticker shock. For about 1/2 the money I think I could put together a very nice PA from Carvin components....and I wouldn't have that strange-looking tiki torch/lamp-post distracting me every time I glanced at it. of course, that is just my $0.02 worth of opinion.

The first thing I thought of was the obelisk in 2001 A Space Odyssey. 8)

yeah......I can see the black obelisk looming over me (and forcing me to play really ominous music from Mahler's 6th Symphony....followed by a chorus of a Strauss Waltz)

ce :D
