No, it's not an acoustic guitar...that is not a real sound hole.
Somebody didn't like the TASS 3 volt UST it would have had originally and decided to 'upgrade'.

Is This a Guild Acoustic Electric? Steve Vai
I was just watching a video with Steve Vai talking about his 263 guitar collection(mainly Ibanez) and I saw this in the background. Is that a black thin body Guild acoustic electric with a maple neck? Maybe a Burnside model? Cant see the name but that headstock shape looks familiar.
