This just came over on my Instagram:
OR, imagine how much longer they could have all lived WITH a guitarA hockey bud's grandmother lived to 113, and didn't own a guitar.
A close friends mother is 103, and she hasn't got one either.
And my mother who died earlier this year was 100, and spent her entire life guitarless.
So using the same logic expressed in the original post, one could theorize that not buying a guitar will extend one's life.

When has buying a guitar EVER been about logic?using the same logic
Thank you Will. I'm redeemed.OR, imagine how much longer they could have all lived WITH a guitar
Interesting. I never thought of a chain saw as a musical instrument, but I get how it could be music to some people's ears. However, here in Florida I associate the sound of a chainsaw with hurricanes that have just blown by.During times of high stress I will have either a guitar or chainsaw in my hand. Nothing calms the nerves like quiet time with an acoustic and a day in the woods with a chainsaw promises at least one night of great sleep. Waiting for a guitar purchased online probably negates at least one of those benefits.

I could not bring myself to harm a guitar. I break out in a cold sweat thinking about the installation of a strap button.Stagefright,
Hmmmm.
Interesting idea for a psychology experiment:
"Stress level changes induced during chainsaw use on guitars."
I suggest you begin working on a Grant Application.
