As I understand it, Hiscox quit distributing in the US because providing OEM cases to Louden and such were taking up all their production during COVID. Now Anderton's seems to be doing a good job, why change? I once walked into an open mic and there were three Hiscox cases lined up, so I bought a roll of auto pin striping tape and ran it down the bottom of the indentations used to stiffen the top. Now I don't get mine confused.
Now a gripe. My Martin D 35 custom is an 07. The case cracked around both hinges. The original Guild case from 70 is good for another twenty years at least. So is the case that came with my 65 Texan, though I don't know if it is original or not. The guys at Gryphon called the Martin case junk. I bought my Hiscox when they still could stock them. If you want real quality, buy Hiscox. What you don't get is pretty fuzzy interior lining.
