Guildudes,
I just bought a 1959 F-30 tenor, and I'm wondering what in the heck Guild used for cases on these. In the 1950s, this was their only 15-inch wide guitar. (They should have called it the Mia Farrow model.) All of the wider models were 16", 16 1/4", 16 3/8", or 17", and all of the narrower ones were 13 3/4" (the Twiggy model), and 13 1/2" (the Karen Carpenter model).
Did they use the same size case for 16", 16 1/4", and 16 3/8" wide guitars? Did they put the F-30 in a case big enough for 16 3/8? Where am I going to get the right fit for my 15 incher? Liz Taylor's House of Guitars?
