This GV70 was talked about in this thread - Guild GV70 NT Excellent Condition on the Ebay-bay ALERT!
I got it a couple of weeks ago. It was virtually unplayed - had some extra-light nickel rocker strings on it, which would certainly have deterred a buyer. For all I can tell, it's never come off the store wall long enough to have a serious finger on it.
Mini-jumbo width, full-jumbo depth. Lovely wood - the spruce top has nice silking and a tight grain, the rosewood is dark and clean, with an ebony board and bridge. Decorations seem inconsistent, with the abalone trim, no binding and simple dots on the fretboard.
Great sound, loud, clear, lots of resonance and good sustain. May be the match for my first GF60, now in Graham's caring hands.
Definitely a keeper. Heck of a buy, I figure.
