I found this on one of my favorite eBay hangouts, Bargainland. It was described as a "Great Cort guitar for players of all skill levels." What they neglected to mention was that it was a rosewood body acoustic fretless base with an ebony fingerboard, a fishman pickup and beautiful abalone inlay -- the pickup alone is probably worth the $146.00 I paid for it.
Besides being really beautiful, it is so much fun! I've never played base, but it is probably the most intuitive instrument I've ever picked up. Here are some pix:
