Usually there is a date stamp on the corner of the neck block if you look into the sound hole towards the neck. Or at least that’s the case with every 90’s era Guild I owned

I have a '72 G37 with a mahogany neck that is way lighter than the '78 G37 I had with a maple neck, and lighter than both the 2000 DV-52 I had or the 1995 DV-62 I have today.
