Guitar - musical instruments - by owner - sale

Guild guitar, model 040 SB. Was a bit repaired. New strings, extra mild. Sounds well! Condition - fair.

Not sure what "was a bit repaired" or "extra mild" might mean (pictures don't tell us much) but if I was nearby I'd certainly go check it out!

Just talked to the seller. I'm actually going to be driving by there on the way in this morning, so I'll stop and take a look. Seller said is was "fixed by a handyman", which doesn't instill much confidence!

I can't see any glaring disfigurements in the pics, but you never know till you know. Hoping whatever it is, it ain't a deal breaker. Good luck Sandy!

Well, I contacted the seller this morning, and told him I'd be there around 11:30AM on the way to Greenpoint. He sold it before I got there. I have a feeling that I wouldn't have wanted it anyway, so it's no big deal.

Yep, like I need another D40! And I know there' no way it would be better than my D40T. That was the "tank era" for Guild, too.
