Of course Gibson would be an appropriate Eatee. My F 20 would eat any small body Gibson I've ever seen, & use the truss rod for a toothpick.

I'd buy one.

Don - I assume you're reading this - whatcha think? What a wonderful complement to the straps you so nicely coordinated ordering for us.

Gary put me on to this guy awhile ago with this very intent. I have his contact info, but haven't tried to reach him yet.

Honestly, I'd like to have a serious/simple logo for LTG & have some of this sort of thing made up sporting the new logo.

Don,

It sounds like such a great idea. Problem is, everyone here is going to have a differing opinion on which logo they like, if you intend to include a Guild logo. The Guild on top of the wedge, the Chesterfield, the Guild shield, I love them all.

Or are you thinking of an origional logo for the LTG?

Yep! But I am partial to the G-shield myself. It would be nice to have legal permission to somehow incorporate that into a forum logo.

I agree - the G shield with the letters LTG underneath it. I agree getting permission could be a problem as who knows who in the Fender chain needs to approve this. If I recall, someone on LTG had a contact - it was referred to in the threads maybe a month or 2 ago.

I attempted to follow up & make contact myself with no response.

Anyone from Guild cruising these pages, I'd love to talk with you!!!

Coastie, your "bird " is very nice.

I'm still thinking G shield with a little Tasmanian devil body & shark teeth eatin a Taylor Or a Gibson would be hilarious.

Don,

I suppose if I had to choose one, it would be the G shield. How do all of these tee shirt printer/sellers get by with printing a Guild logo on a tee shirt?

You really want to know? They break the law. I'm not sure how companies would go about policing this sort of thing, but I bet everyone has been to a concert & seen the guy in the parking lot with a duffle bag full of black market T's. I know for a fact that some of those guys have been busted.

That's what I thought. But then we've all seen them advertising on Ebay with these cool Guild shirts. Right there in broad daylight in front of the entire world. It blows me away. Man, that's nerve!

Well, if you're talking about guildguy forum member, Jay Pilzer....he & his wife have/had permission to reproduce the Guild name & logo on various items. I have several of their woven straps, but never got round to buying any of the shirts or mugs while they were still making them. They were shutting down guildgear.com & started producing Benedetto stuff, but since Benedetto split away from Guild/Fender, I haven't kept up on what they're doing now.

No Don, there are a couple of folks that I have bought shirts from off of Ebay.
Some from a guy that printed whatever I wanted on them. And another from a place in Canada that has a logo that doesn't look authentic at all. Both of questionable production to say the least.....nice shirts though.
