I am looking at buying a really nice example of a D25SB S/N DA111379
I am getting the guitar for $500 is this a good price? I have not found too much info on this guitar and thought this would be a great place to start.

1982 would make this Westerly built - which is, IMHO, very good. Westerly, R.I. was the longest home of Guild guitars, and the last place they where built prior to the Fender take-over, and the factory move to Tacoma.

This particular Guild is highly thought of, and a great place to start in the world of Guild. It is mahogany back and sides with spruce top - so you get that slightly deeper hog tone.

The burst top would be interesting for sure. Welcome to LTG - much more than just a guitar forum. Stick around and you'll see.
