Thank you for the info. Is the price good? I have no idea. I've mostly been focused on D50, 55 and 60.
I think it’s high. For a D46.Thank you for the info. Is the price good? I have no idea. I've mostly been focused on D50, 55 and 60.
It might be on the high side for those, but I'd say if at all interested, you should arrange to go see it in person and play it, if its close enough that its not too much trouble. Maybe make a low offer if it suits you.Thank you for the info. Is the price good? I have no idea. I've mostly been focused on D50, 55 and 60.
I've seen several labels printed by this person, including the one in mine.
It might seem so, but when I hear it played, the D46 is not overly bright, it is exceptionally balanced. Although like with any acoustic, you can coax heavier bass or bright high treble tones out of it depending how you attack/play it.It seems to sound quite bright on an acoustic ; one would have to like it
You’ve got to show me his handiwork when you get it back!Well, mine went into the shop yesterday for a new nut and some fret work. I have not spent one dime on that old guitar in the 22 years I've owned it, but it's time.
The guy I took it to loves Guilds, and owns a DV-72. He took mine and started playing up and down the neck to confirm my diagnosis of a worn nut. Got a big smile on his face as he did so and said, "Man, would you listen to that?" I think he liked it.
