Dating my Guild X-170

Hello everyone, I just bought this nice Guild X-170T in natural color but I can't trace back the year of production even though I called the company and gave them the serial number on the guitar. The company suggested I turn to Letstalkguild.com for an answer. Can anyone help me with this. The serial number on my guitar is AK171320. I just hope this guitar is not a knock off/copy of an original.

Don't know exact date but based on the Fender era humbuckers it would indicate very late 1990's or early 2000's. The case purple interior suggests it is a Westerly guitar. The internal Guild label will say where it was made.

That’s a Westerly sticker. Based on features I’d venture a guess at circa 2000

Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. The interior label does say "Guild Music Westerly RI". It's in such great shape that it's hard to believe it can be 20 years + old.

I have one same color mine is westerly but was around a 2000 model. I have the same pickup rings as you do. I have an older one mid 80s and the rings are different. The 2 screws are further apart and on the opposite side.
