Dating my JF65 12 string

I've been searching all over the net to find out when and where my Guild guitar was build.Can't find it.
Maybe someone on this forum knows?
The serial number of my JF 65 12 string : JF650085.

Hey, welcome aboard, Slam41! I don't see a match on the the list from Guild, but that isn't saying much. @hansmoust , do you have this serial number in your records.

The JF 65 is a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. No idea on the date, though. Answers will be forthcoming.

I don't know about when, where where it was built should show on the label inside the soundhole. BTW, welcome to LTG! Would love to see photos of that 12er!

Just been reading the post about the x550P The Paladin archtop.I've been wanting one for years but never seen one I could buy....

That's pretty much a yes. I'm guessing 1987 or 1988, but I defer to those who know what they're talking about.

My JF-65 12 string bears serial number JF650346 and it's from 1990.

You may be able to find a date stamp inside the guitar on the neck block bevel, treble side. There may be a date stamp on the inside of the top near the sound hole.

My D-16 M has serialnumber AH101393.
Am I correct that it is a 1985?
It also has two labels glued over each other, a beige one with a light blue one on top of it with the serial number on it.
Does anybody know what that is all about?

@12 string You are absolutely right!Their indeed is a date at the neckblock bevel!It reads February 25 1988!

Just checked my D16M at the neckblock and it too has a production date! 1986! Thanks again @12 string!

If it says "Westerly" on the label they yes, it was built there. In cases of the Hoboken-Westerly transition period there are some labels that have no origin location and some that say Hoboken that aren't that clear.

The light blue label means it was a guitar for export.
