My parents have an African Gray Parrot. Once when visiting, it overheard me say the two worst English curse words there are in a row. It has been saying them constantly, on an almost daily basis, for over 20 years now!

There's something about grabbing your guitar first thing in the morning that works like no other time for me, refreshed, clear headed, it's intense.

Mornings and evenings are like night and day for me, in the mornings no pain, lots of energy, in the evening everything hurts and I can barely move, and my mind is tired, sometimes frazzled, my kid accused me of Sundowning a long long time ago.

Actually, mornings are the worst for me. I wake up slowly. I like quiet and coffee and staring blankly at my computer screen. Then the day plays out. My favorite time to grab and play is after an adult beverage or after Happy Hour. Any time in the evening is fine. Mornings, nope!!

This type of thing is difficult to do. Sherlock's yammerin' happens during times when both of us are down and in our place. As soon as you stand up and grab your phone..... he stops. He's just like the Warner Bros. frog!!

The joy is deciding which ONE to play. I don't like having the "wrong" tool for the job either.
