Ralf has posted this before but it bears repeating. When they were introducing the D-55 GSR Noir, they threw a few Guilds into Doyle's hands, and ... well ... this always is a humbling experience:
Doyle's style of music is not my favorite, but I can appreciate the skill level of any guitarist in any genre. When I see stuff like this, I never know whether to practice much much more, or just give up playing! He's so effortless...
^ I know what you mean. I do enjoy the theatrics that he does, but it's the hymn that he played on the D-55 Noir that was just hair-raisingly beautiful.
