Hi,

Just received an e-mail. Seems the original bidder backed out, don't know how you can do that, so its back up for auction.

I'm going to bid on it but will wait until the last day.

I noticed from the photo of the fingerboard that and the head they appear dirty. Can they be cleaned up?

Yup, I use a product called Guitar Honey by Gerlitz and steel wool. 2 sprays on the steel wool and start cleaning the fretboard (or however you want to clean it), the frets and the bridge too! It does wonders!

But first you have to win that baby! here is the second chance to get it in your hands!

POUNCE ON IT LIKE A LION! :D  :D

Good luck!

Nice, Ed. I'd say it's from '99. Sweet rosewood back! I wish you good bidding, my friend. Plus you have the advantage of knowing where the bidding ended up last time.

Good luck, Ed. If you really want it, figure out your max and place the bid close to the end of the auction. Things will take their course.

The only disadvantage of waiting until the end of an auction is that the seller can always choose to accept an early bid/offer and end the auction before you have a chance to bid. Rarely happens though in the normal auctions, but happens a lot in the best offer / buy it now ones.

I'm watching it but so far the bids are higher than my max bid. It just started to take off this morning. I may still re-consider.

Auction ended. I dropped out at $650 just like last time. It will be interesting to see if it gets posted again. Successful bidder only put in a single bid. I know its's worth more but I have a budget to stay in.

In my humble opinion, I think you would be extremely lucky to find a DV52 for much less than $800 (in decent shape) even in this economy. And, at $800, they are a total steal.

Strongly agree. I'd never part with 'Fungo' for that. Thanks again FY!

The seller cancelled all bids on this DV52.

First, I print screened the image, then enlarged and cleaned it up..........and there it was.
The git appeared to have a crack at the sound hole, extending up to the bottom of the neck, on the pick guard side.

Originally, seller said there was no crack, then he later thanked me for bringing it to his attention.

I was interested in this.........sigh! :(
