Hi, Y'All,
I recently came into possession of the DV62 "Rich Cohen guitar" that was listed here.
Lovely axe, great resonance, plays great etc.
Question is: how many of these were produced totally? I have owned DV52's in the past. They are frequently around, but I never saw one of these....
Thanks,
Howard

I think the only person who can answer that with any degree of certainty would be @hansmoust. But, we might be able to guess based on SNs. During the two years 1994-1995, the SN lists suggest that about 950 DV-52s were produced, compared to about 150 DV-62s. If the same ratios were produced in 1993, when the DV-52 and 62 shared SN prefixes, it might suggest that about 120 DV-62s were made (20% of 600) in '93. So I would guess that the total production of DV-62s was between 250-300 (150 + 120 = 270). But, given that Guild SN lists are notoriously incomplete, and production numbers could have been very different in 1993, that is just a wild guess..
