I remember going to the neighbor's house as a kid with my dad. My dad was an engineer so would often help the neighbors with technical stuff. I have a vivid memory of my dad's reaction when he opened the neighbor's fusebox and found pennies where the fuses were supposed to be.

So you could select a group of adjacent breakers to trip or be reset together?
It wasn’t an actual question. :) But yes, it’s for linking breakers like you would for a stove in order to make a two-pole breaker.

But one of my endearing characteristics is answering rhetorical questions. Almost more fun than letting humor go right over my head.
