Not convinced I want/need to do this but if you have something hit me up, ya never know. These came in different finishes but I'm not picky about that. I need it to be in good shape with no issues and the electronics must work well.

First thing to know is that early versions up through late '94 have 24-3/4" scale w/ 24 fret (2 full octave) necks. Later versions had 25-5/8"/20 fret necks. Also about '97 the transducer/pre-amp system got better, the Pro-Blend System.

I've never seen one with anything other than a 1-5/8" nut on either neck. My '01 loves silk and steel. It's my go-to for playing comfort, but I tolerate the 1-5/8" nut because I love her voice. Like operatic falsettos with the S'n'S's. :)

Here's one.

Thid is the same guitar I was following on Reverb. Started out at $2100 and dopped to $1650 eventually. I had sent him several offers at $1600 + shipping and sales tax but told him that was as far as I'd go. Looks like he's sold it now or taken it off the market.

Sam Ash had a beautiful sunburst '97 a while back for a great price, and I was ready to pulll the trigger until I found out about the 1 5/8" nut. that's a deal killer for me.

Same for me!! I love this model but I can barely deal with 1 11/16ths nut. 1 5/8ths is a no go.

1 11/16" is ok for me, but it depends on the neck profile. It's a definite "try before you keep" for me. I do generally prefer 1 23/32" or 1 3/4" as a rule.
