I recently acquired a 1993 JF4-12NT. The serial # is LA 000140 -- just curious what is known about this model, when it was introduced, when discontinued, and what previous 12-string model it's equivalent to, if any.
It's a jumbo, with a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, satin finish, the headstock logo is stenciled or screened on, the back is not braced, a la the JF-30.
It seems like one of Guild's lower-on-the-food chain models -- no fancy inlay to speak of, minimal binding -- but it does have Grover mini-rotomatics, which appear original.
* * *
Also, one other question, what became of Ted Beesley, the author of the first Guild book? Has he ever turned up on LTG?
Thanks!
