Our father owned and played a couple of Hammond electric organs for many years.
He was self taught, and loved to play.
After he died, his last one sat essentially unplayed for almost 25 years, and when our mother died last year, we found it impossible to sell and only after a great deal of effort were we able to give it away.

One of the comments:
Lots and lots of very specific capacitor values and resistors to make up the oscillators and frequency dividers. I think it’s about 96 tubes also. The rattling sound is from brass bars that oscillate to make the tremolo. You have to kick start them with a lever with felt on it.
