In 1963, Little Richard played in Liverpool, England, singing "Shake Baby Shake." One of the guitarists in the band is playing a Guild, probably a Starfire. Check it out at 5:18 in the video.

That's what I thought when I first saw it last night on the PBS program about Little Richard. Man, he was much abused by the record industry, as were so many other black musicians before the 1990s, not paying him what he was owed and had earned.

Based on these notes, it's probably the guitarist from Sounds Incorporated, John St. John.

Sounds Incorporated were the band on Beatles Good Morning.
The PBS Little Richard show is excellent, very well done.
