Welcome back after couple years absence. What a nice guitar and much admiration for the D100.

That was the date the rim was completed. Actual ready-to-ship date was a couple of weeks to months later, depending on the model and demand. They typically built in batches of 6. A high-ender like yours might have 2 or 3 built for orders and then have some near-complete bodies waiting for new orders. Allowed 'em a bit of flexibility if somebody wanted a sunburst, for example.
We've also seen initial runs of 24 pieces that were discontinued for low demand or some other reason.
It occurred to me yours is from a period when Guild was puting 1-3/4" nuts on a lot of high-enders, what's yours?

That D 100 NT is indeed a beautiful specimen. Enjoy playing it.
