Yes those are the original tuner's. From what I've read I think they are! I've seen one on Elderley's website some time ago, same guitar as mine.

Beautiful guitar, I have always liked the look of the DV6 and DV4. Agreed the herringbone looks nice, very classy. Hope you enjoy your Guild!

Nice guitar! Nice top, I love the herringbome too. Bet it'll give any D-18 a run for its money!

Awesome! Yeah, they look like the original tuners to me.

These guitars are indeed an inexpensive D-18 killer, just like the DV52 is a D-28 killer.

You've just inspired me to go grab my '98 & play it for a while... thanks!

Ah man, I love those guitars. I actually thought about buying a very nice one in Arlington a couple of years ago, but she got away.....or I balked I should say. I honestly don't know how they can call a guitar made in Mexico a DV6 these days.....no comparison to what you've got there. Very nice.

I have the same tuners on my DV-6 (Grover Rotomatics, gold finish).

I saw a set of those today, thinking how would they look on my 'new' D35...the answer is obviously......swell....   They werekl close to a hundred bucks. Considering what the tuners are worth...these things are a real class act for the price...Steffan

I bought a set from Don (dklsplace) for around 45 bucks.

Stewmac has them for 56 or so...

The DV series are all nicely appointed instruments. I especially like the peghead of that time. Don't know why they stopped making them unless the Fender takeover had something to do with it. Anyway enjoy your Guild and don't be embarrased about the sexy pics!!!!

You related to Boz Scaggs??????
