Hi Shawn, I think all the Corona ones are 2002-3. Then they moved to Tacoma. So how do you like your Corona, any Complaints? I really like my D25. :D Steffan

Steffan, I think most of 2004 was also Corona. If I recall correctly, the first Tacoma serials are "TI...", which is 2005.

I'm no expert here, Chaz, but without having owned a Tacoma, but owning 3 Westerly, I'm not in the least disappointed in the Corona. Steffan

No argument one way or the other here, Steffan. We have good reports from most of the folks here on the Corona products (I have none to compare). As you know, the marketplace does tend to devalue the Corona years a bit.

I just wanted to point out that it was a three-year interval (to my knowledge) not two years. Then, when Tacoma started in 2005 it ran through 2008 (four years).

Best wishes. -- Chaz

I LOVE my Corona Guild. I was lucky enough to find it on Ebay back in 2005. It had a small crack on the rear bout that my luthier filled in for me (no cleat needed - it was that small), and I wound up getting it for $880. Talk about a buy! Even through the subsequent Jersey winters and summers, I've had no issue with the finish cracking. I think I got a good one.

I have since added Grover 18:1 locking tuners, brass endpins with abalone, tortoise shell truss rod cover, a K&K Trinity Western pickup, and Hans Moust helped me find a matching piece of pick guard material that I added above the soundhole to make it look my John Denver's good 'ol dual pickguard F50R from the good 'ol days. Came with a G&G case, and I just love it.

Every time I open the case....AH....!!!!!
