Depending on what guitar its on the G shield logo looks awesome, but for the most part I agree with brother Hagmeat-

1) Three line Chesterfield
2) Solid Chesterfield
3) G shield logo

1) Solid Chesterfield
2) Three line Chesterfield

I never could warm up to the G shield logo, and can do without it.

:) The G-shield is iconic for the brand. That said, it REALLY looks good to me only on the recent headstocks I've seen that use real wood (striped ebony in NH, and cocobolo from various prior facilities).

I think the chesterfield is awesome too.

But, if we're talking about preference, give me a Martin slothead any day. Graceful, simple, gorgeous. Maybe it's just me.

I like them all, but there's just something about the three-line Chesterfield that's a must have for me. I just love the look on the headstock with the peaked Guild logo.

Chesterfields are nice, but when you boil it all down to my absolute favorite, it's a rooftop logo over a G-shield. Nothing better.... :D :D

Are you referring to this?

Because that one's actually on my '64 Polara

I wish I had a a Thunderbird, even though I'm in the minority who actually likes the Polara better.

I Too would agree with the summation of Brother Hag-Meat.
Whilst I love the G shield under the peaked Guild, It's not for all guitars. I like the way they differ between models and years. For me, another cool thing about 'Guild'.
I love the headstock 'shape' as well. It's my visual favorite amongst all the brands.
