Has there ever been a Guild strat or tele clone with single coil pickups? Will there ever be such a thing?

Just responded to your FB post. Look for 80s Flyers, Aviators, Liberators, Detonators, etc. Also, the Brian Setzer version of the Bluesbird from the 80s had 3 single coils. Roy Buchanon T-200 for a Tele.
You can see some in Grot's collection. http://www.guildsofgrot.com/guitars.html

Those are set neck solid bodies, right? The Flyer looks closest but the one I saw had a Floyd Rose tremelo system, and I hate those.

I was wondering if they ever did a bolt on neck, solid body, with single coils and a standard Guild headstock. The Jackson looking headstock on the Aviator isn't my thing. The S100 is nice but not exactly my thing either.

That's pretty cool! I'd like to see one of those with standard single coil pickups.

The Sprint was pretty close to a Strat:

Offset double cut-away, bolt-on neck, three single coils, six-on-a-side tuners, arm and belly cut. (Albeit a Kahler tremolo)

The S-250 is their version of a Tele:

If you're lucky, you might find an early one with the "cake knife" headstock like on the Detonator:

The Liberator was a set neck. I believe the rest were bolt ons.
