This message is basically for Hans. There's an X-375 advertized on Reverb with a 1953 date. And, indeed, the serial number, 1385, according to your book, should date it in 1953. However, you have in the past equivacated such numbers, suggesting the guitar was made in 1954. Can you clarify?

Hello Rich,

Not sure what you mean with 'you have in the past equivacated such numbers, suggesting the guitar was made in 1954'.
Maybe you're mixing up my comments on the 'low 4-digit' numbers on M-20s that were done around 1959?
I would think this particular guitar is from 1953.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

Nice video on the reverb site. Not sure I like the white pick ups but I could get used to it

Edit: I just got used to it
