Guy Makes Vacuum Tubes in his Garage

This guy is just using a blowtorch and his home made spot welder with a mangled drill in what looks like the random person's messy garage. Oh - and it seems that he has a homemade vacuum pump, too. LOL he even has a home-made tube tester.



He's not always great with keeping the subject in focus (or even on camera), but he's making tubes!

I'm also kind of impressed that he never burns his fingers.

Oh - and he then uses them to make a tube amplifier using vintage parts from the '20s.

Ever since a high school chemistry lab where I picked up the wrong end of a piece of hot glass, watching someone work with hot glass always makes me a bit uneasy . Very interesting video.
