So, I am clearly not a singer, and I messed up order of the 4th and 5th verses, but love this tune! North Country girl: https://youtu.be/Rn6XlXHGxxY

that might not even be the correct name of that song :)

"Girl From The North Country" and as far as I know, it's about his high school sweetheart, Echo Helstrom. She lived out in the country, on a dirt road (Helstrom Road) and the next homestead down the road was my grandparent's place.

Enjoyed your take on it, Woody!!! Thanks.

I think my all-time favorite Dylan "cut" is "Maggie's Farm" in DA Pennebaker's Don't Look Back, largely because of the video that accompanies it.
Always did like the song but the video's the cherry on the sundae.
The one that had him flashing all the signs:

I believe that tune is Subterranean Homesick Blues, not Maggie's Farm.

And I can't search.
I thought those pics didn't match what I remember of the Maggie's Farm background.
In "Farm" I remember him standing on a rural road and holding the signs to his left.
But when I Google image "DA Pennebaker Maggie's Farm" those are what come back.
I just found out they come back for "Homesick Blues" too.
Which I like too but not as much as "Maggie's Farm"
