Sun's about 1/2 obscured right now. The eclipse glasses are rad!

Well it clouded over and there's rain coming shortly. I snapped this before the clouds moved in for good. Oh well.

This was at maximum for me. <5% is still a lot of sun. Just a very thin crescent, but it's like late on a sunny day. Too much for my phone camera, even covering the lens with the eclipse glasses.

It was only 50% obscurity

So, still clearer than the news? ;[]

The cat knew something was up.

And overhead, as shot through an arc welding hood, lots of clouds in Eastern WA, and the temp dropped down to 48.5ºF.

Nice touch with the con trail, and then the clouds part for a second. I actually heard my Lumix makes a distress pig squeal I'd never heard before.
