Maybe you could have someone paint it on there before you lacquer the headstock.

I've seen decals for some guitars and have bought stencils (friskets) so I can more realistically spray logos on, but I've never seen this one offered.

You can email Dan for how to engage a print shop to see if they would create one for you.

Dan Erlewine ( danerlewine@gmail.com )is the man in the video. StewMac is the popular luthier supply company.

The process is used by modern sign makers and screen print shops involving scanning an intact head stock logo and tracing with CAD software, so it can be cut using computerized equipment. You can see it's no easy task and you would need to bring a good clean actual size logo photo to modern sign making shop that uses CAD programmed vinyl cutters. Print and cut software using sign makers are not something you are likely to find in outlying rural regions. You can investigate CAD sign/printmaking software to see what's involved.

I suggest you contact modern sign shops in your area and present what you want to do. There may not be one near where you live.

This waterslide decal from a different Guild era is the closest thing I've found for Guild guitars. While not period correct it at least makes the brand statement.

Good luck. Dave

I do not but I have a 59’ M20 and access to Illustrator. It could be done with a little effort. I suspect someone may have that tracing already. Because these were sprayed, they aren’t exact so a slide path point here and there won’t make a huge difference.

I'm not grasping completely. You're saying a tracing can be hand drawn, then precisely cut out to create the stencil?

Copying and cutting the Guild script in the size you need for that task would not be easy, even for an artist. Keep your mind open to alternatives.

For the sake of clarity. He seems to be suggesting using a computer to trace a photo of the artwork.

I would suggest a Cricut machine could make the frisket for you at that point. I have an M20 from '59 or '60 with the paint still looking good.
